Have you been hearing about Team Beachbody’s Newest Fitness Program? Ok! I am such a loser! But I am so excited for this one! My 2 favorite programs are Body Beast and The 21 Day Fix Series. I saw the best results with these and am always able to go back to them. Well… Those trainers got together and made a baby!
Not a real Baby (mind out of the gutter people Sagi is married) but teamed up for a fitness program! YESSSSSSSS. And it is coming in December 1st! I am very impatiently waiting for it to arrive. Not wishing time away, but I know this workout is going to be a HUGE Success! I know that building lean muscles helps burn metabolism and keeps me looking fit not bulky! I don’t know about you but I want to look fit not skinny!
So I wanted to tell you all about it!
This workout gives you clean eating nutrition with portion control containers and killer workouts that can get you in shape in just 60 days. All Ranging in length of 30-40 minutes. Doable right?

What is it?
Hammer and Chisel is a 60 day program that was created by Autumn Calabrese and Sagi Kalev. This program will get you long lean muscles and shredded in 60 days by combining strength training, cardio, and abs. You will use the Portion Control Container system to be sure your nutrition is on Point.

Well the 21 Day Fix is seriously one of my favorite programs, it made portion control and nutrition easy BONUS it allows wine and Chocolate! HELLO. The workouts are effective and quick, but you feel them. Awesome workout in 30 minutes and it is for EVERYONE! Thanks to the lovely modifier! I saw some pretty great results, with this program.
Well Autumn Calabrese the creator decided she wanted to take it up a notch and came up with The 21 Day Fix Extreme!

This is no joke! We got to try it at Pittsburgh’s Super Saturday. There are no breaks. You go the entire 30 minutes. It is intense. But great!
The meal plan goes No-Nonsense with 7 color coded containers and a Shakeology Shaker cup. Plus you get the 21 day countdown to competition meal plan, this is what Autumn actually uses for her shows! Sorry no more wine or Chocolate, but its 3 weeks! I promise you could do it! Great to get ready for an upcoming event, or vacation. The 21 Day Fix Extreme is the next program in the Fix Line. Building off the Basics of the 21 Day Fix has steady aerobics, resistance, and Plyo.
An explosive lower-body workout that uses jumping and resistance to torch calories and sculpt muscles.
By alternating opposing muscle groups, this no-rest upper-body workout will shred the chest, back, shoulders, and arms.

The Fix Challenge
Keep things interesting and burn off calories with this quick resistance workout!
For starters it is the best way to give your body exactly what you need. Cuts out all the processed junk that makes you feel like shit and is simple. Do you never ever get to eat junk? No you can the rule is generally 80-20. Meaning eating clean 80% of the time to get the results you want. I guarantee that if you follow it 100% of the time you probably suck to be around… (kidding kind of.)
Eating clean will get all the toxins out of your body making you feel better, have more energy, get healthier looking hair, skin, and nails. It also will get your body to your ideal weight. This may be gaining (scary for some) or losing. Your workout results will pop.
This picture shows you a good gain…My favorite part. You are eating 5-6 small meals a day!! YAY! I love food. I forget a lot of shit, but never a good meal. Ask my husband, I tell directions by restaurants. He always says to me , “I don’t remember food like you.”
Those meals consist of Complex carbs and lean proteins, getting 2-3 healthy fats in a day.
Learning portion sizes is necessary though, because believe it or not you can have too much of a good thing. It is annoying too when your thinking , “What the hell I am exercising and eating good, I don’t look any different.” Then you give up. Been there done that. Pay attention to what you are eating and how much!! Here is a way to get an idea of what your portions should look like.
