Stuffed hot pepper

You need.

1 lbs lean ground turkey



2tbs minced garlic


1 egg

1/4 cup ww bread crumbs

1 29oz can crushed tomatoes

I had 5 hot peppers.  cut top off and deseed

1 cup Mixed Italian cheese

Mix ground turkey, egg, ketchup, 1tbsp garlic, bread crumbs. Stuff into peppers. Form meatballs with remaining meat. Put in baking dish. sprinkle in remaining garlic, some basil, and oregano. dump crushed tomato on top. Top with foil heat at 350 for 50 min. Bump oven up cook for 20 min. uncover top with cheese heat until it melts.


Beef and Broccoli in the crockpot

What you need:

1-2 lbs of sliced London broil

4 cups broccoli florets cut

1 cup beef broth

2tbs whole wheat flour

1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce

1/2 cup brown sugar

red bell pepper diced

1 sliced onion

3 heaping teaspoons of minced garlic

crushed pepper flakes (optional and what you like)

Mix the liquids with the flour and brown sugar and put everything in the crockpot on low for 7 hrs. stir in the broccoli and cover for an additional hour. Delish. Serve over a brown rice.

Pineapple Bake

I hate wasting food! And the chickens were about to get the pineapple I cut and forgot about in the fridge so I decided to create something. Hey if it sucked the chickens eat anything!

Actually turned out great and the house smelled amazing while it baked!

What you need!

I used a 9inch springform pan sprayed with nonstick spray

3 cups chopped pineapple

2 cups oatmeal

2 eggs 1tsp baking soda

1tsp vanilla

dash cinnamon

dash almond mild

1/4 cup honey

1/4 cup natural maple syrup

2tbsp coconut oil

Preheat the oven to 350. Put all but one cup of the pineapple into the food processor blend until smooth. dump in pan add remaining one cup of pineapple in the food processor pulse till it turns into crushed pineapple. Sprinkle onto your cake. Bake for 1 hour! Enjoy!


Excuse Proofing your diet…

First of all I am going to start by saying it is not a diet it is a lifestyle I will do short cleanses that are strict but anything over that if I find a ton of you can’t have this or that blah blah blah I will not stick with it.

Once you make the decision to change your lifestyle you will need to consider some other things and change your excuses a bit.

“I love food.” Is one I hear a lot. Excuses me so do I. I fucking love to eat. Sometimes it is all I talk about and it happens to be one of my favorite things to do. Im not kidding. Who doesn’t like to eat? When I changed my lifestyle and started the 80/20 rule where I mainly eat healthy and allow a splurge every once in a while (ok sometimes more). Get this… This is AWESOME! I was able to eat MORE!! HOLLA Ive learned that you can make healthy food taste amazing with none of that fake shit!

“I can’t cook, I don’t have time, or don’t know how.” Ever see the Disney movie Ratatouille?  “Everyone can cook!” Its true. Seriously. So you can’t come up with your own recipes. Get a cook book. I love fixate. Also there are a ton of clean eating sites! Google. As for no time. Let me tell you about my friend. The crock pot. Set it and forget it and you can make just about anything in that bad boy!

“I hate the gym/ working out” Do you really have to go to the gym? I don’t I do my workouts right in my living room. There is also taking walks, jogging, throwing an epic dance party in your living room. Rock climbing, play some basketball. Get the picture. Do what you love. As for working out. I don’t necessarily love it. I love how I feel when I am done and what it has done for me. So I have come to some what enjoy it now. Don’t think that there aren’t days that working out is the last thing I want to do. Cause there are. I just go back to Why I started, and then I do it anyway. You won’t get the ass you want by sitting on it.

“I don’t have time to workout, or I need to put my kids first.” Bull shit you don’t make time because its not a priority to you. But you keep on hating on yourself. Love yourself enough to make the time. And me taking 30 min to improve my health will not harm my kids. It makes me a better mom, I am happier, I have more energy, and I have learned to teach them how to love and care for themselves. They know that is my time. And they are a part of my why so how is not working out for them?
“I don’t have the will power.” Take away the temptation! Seriously if you love Cheetos don’t by them. Put fruit out keep an array of healthy foods at your fingertips. Do not go to the grocery store hungry. Read a menu online before you go out when your not starving so you are not tempted to make horrible choices.

“Diets don’t work for me, I have tried everything.” Before I have too. And to be honest diets don’t work for anyone really. You’re thinking the wrong way. You need to change your lifestyle. Live in moderation and if you fuck up which you will cause you are human. Move on. Continue on with your healthy lifestyle. If you have a bad day don’t wake up the next day like. I was so bad yesterday that fuck this I will just continue to be fat. A lot of fitness is mentally how you think of yourself and your outlook on life in general. You know what you do say yesterday was bad, todays a new day I got this! Im gonna kick ass.

Skipping meals



DO NOT skip meals. This is the biggest mistake people make when trying to lose weight and oddly enough think it actually helps because they are eating fewer calories. Well do you know eating too little is sometimes why your weight will refuse to budge? That your body goes into starvation mode and decides its not going to get rid of anything. I am guilty of doing this in the past. Sometimes even currently. Somedays even though I am home I do not plan as well as I should.

The truth is that skipping meals leaves big gaps of time between meals which allows your blood sugar to drop. This causes you to have cravings…

And what happens when you crave, you likely cheat or over eat when you sit down for your next meal. Then you know what happens? You feel guilty and just give up on healthy eating all together (Just kidding you’re in it for good now right?)

Another thing that is done, you have a glutenous breakfast, or lunch so you will just skip a meal. Do not do that! Skipping a meal will not take away the fact that you stuffed your face and enjoyed yourself maybe a little too much. Then you are putting more time in there to slow down your metabolism, and aren’t we trying to speed that up?

So what should you be doing? Pack your day full of healthy meals and snacks.


Some snack ideas…

-1/2 Cup grapes w/ 1 low fat string cheese

-1/2 cup nonfat plain greek yogurt with 1/2 cup fresh berries –

sweeten with one packet Truvia or 1 tsp Agave

– 1-2 cups raw veggies (ie. red/orange pepper strips, baby

carrots, jicama) with 2 TBSP Hummus

– 12 Raw Almonds with a small apple

– 12 Raw Cashews with a small apple

– 1/2 Cup of shelled edamame

– 3-5 slices of lean low sodium turkey breast or roast beef

wrapped around a low fat string cheese

-1/2 cup low fat cottage cheese with 1/2 chopped tomato

season with sea salt and pepper

– 1 hardboiled egg with 8 baby carrots


If you over indulge at one meal pick a small healthy and snack in your next food time. You are going to indulge sometimes, and eat something you probably shouldn’t. You are not a robot! Keep on trucking and move forward. Knowing you can make a better choice next time!
