Ladies… you know what I want to know? Why we are really freaking hard on ourselves? Why we are so judge mental to ourselves, and sometimes others?

I spent a bulk of Christmas break trying to not mentally berate myself because I really over indulged. It’s so easy to fall into old habits. I felt bloated and self conscious. Then watched 8 million other women post hearts ♥️ saying pick a color for the goal of weight you want to lose this year. And I just 💭 thought. How about we go into the new year setting a goal, to be kinder to ourselves. To accept ourselves and work on not really that goal weight but eating better and moving our bodies to show we care. .
Just all around general health! Mental and physical.

Does that sound weird coming from a health coach? Probably, but you know when I started to love myself, eat good healthy foods because it made me feel better, and workout because moving gave me energy and build confidence. That is when I feel my best. Then enjoy myself in moderation because I’ll be damned if I’m going to feel deprived.

squash bread (mostly clean)

Squash Bread? LOL I was not sure what to call it but it has yellow squash and zucchini in it so… There you go. I hate waste and try to find different things to do with veggies that are going bad.

Ingredients 

1 small shredded zucchini

1 small shredded yellow squash

1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp sea salt

2 tsp cinnamon

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup pure maple syrup (honey works as well)

1 egg

1/4 cup olive oil

1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk

 

Preheat the oven to 350 and grease a 9×4 loaf pan. Mix all the dry ingredients add the wet and mix till combined. Fold in the shredded zucchini and squash and pour into loaf pan bake 50-60 minutes until a tooth pick comes out clean. And enjoy!

To make it completely clean you could swap the brown sugar for more maple syrup or honey. I just like the taste it gives and the slight crisp you get on the crust!

I really never thought I was a morning person but wanted to get workout in before the kids woke. So I set my alarm in another room. Forcing my lazy ass to get up! You can’t hit snooze this way! .
Up! Pee Ha! Brush my teeth 🦷 .
Let the 🐕 dogs out and feed the beasts.
Chug some water!
Make my plant 🌱 based GOGO Juice. This helps me not want to complete die firming the workout 🤗. Helps with stamina! .
Sit down while I’m sipping my pre workout and I read! Yep read. Not my typical books for entertainment (smut 😬🤪) But I read to grow my mind. To Mentally put myself in the Best place! .
Then after about 15 minutes of that. I do my workout! This is all for ME! .

Meatball stuffed pepper

Ingredients. 

bell peppers (1 per person) 

Onion

Minced garlic 

Tomato Puree (whatever sauce you would like to use. If you don’t make your own. Find one with lower sugar.)

Mixed Italian cheese

Basil – 1Tbsp

Crushed red pepper -1 tsp

1/2 cup diced bell pepper

1 egg

Ketchup 2Tbsp

1lbs extra lean ground turkey

1/4 cup plain breadcrumbs

1/3 cup old fashioned oats.

In the crock pot throw in sauce. Onion kin removed whole for flavor. if you like onion dice it up! Add the diced peppers, basil, garlic, and crushed red pepper. Put on low.

Make the meatballs by combining the turkey, egg, ketchup, garlic, bread crumbs and oats. Roll out meat balls and place them into the sauce. Cook that all day.

For the peppers cut in half and remove seeds place into an oiled baking dish. Cook at 350 until it reaches your desired softness. I did like 40 min. Place the meatball in the pepper and top with sauce and cheese. Bake until cheese melts! Enjoy.

 

 

 

 

Stay at home mom life

With my job. We’re told to share our days how we incorporate the healthy lifestyle into it. How the business is incorporated into it. All I can think is my life is BORING. 🤣😂.

But then I thought about it. How many Moms, how many women could relate?

.

I thought all I ever wanted was to be a stay at home mom. Then I did it and it wasn’t all it cracked out to be. Don’t get me wrong. Love my babies. But I missed having an identity besides “Mom, wife, home maker.” I missed not feeling guilty when I wanted to treat myself. Spare me on the what’s his is ours. My husband never said it wasn’t the guilt is still there. I wanted to contribute more then taking care of things at home, cooking dinners, and budgeting.

I never appreciated my body before kids, always had low self esteem. But after babies I really didn’t! I gained 60 lbs with my first, I was young and would say I can’t do anything fun right now besides eat the big bacon classic. I would also tell myself things like I’m a Mom this is just the way I will feel about now with my body. You know hating how your clothes fit, never getting changed in front of anyone including your spouse, basically being disgusted with yourself. Eating BBCs because that burger would fix everything. Saying things like I hate working out, I don’t have time. I’m busy doing, well whatever the hell I was doing.

The way I snapped out of all this and got started was not a pleasant one. I can’t say I’m thankful that losing my father got my shit together. Got me to do more.

.

But I can say this business has been perfect for me in every way. I am confident, happy and healthy. I contribute to the family in more ways than homemaker, wife, mom. And we have this vision that my husband backs fully. Plus I love it! 2018 I have doubled my earnings and I see big things happening in 2019. Want to join me?

I don’t have your Motivation.

You guys! I hear this so much…

“I want to lose weight but I am not motivated enough.”

“I want to join you, but I don’t have your Motivation.”

“I wish I had your motivation.”

Listen BULL SHIT. I don’t have my Motivation. LOL the term in itself is Bull Shit! You know what I  am saying? Tough Love here. If you are saying this over and over again. But then constantly complaining about your weight, or how your clothes fit or how unhealthy and tired you are. Maybe you should recheck your priorities. Maybe you should drop the motivation excuse, because that is exactly what it is and just do it. Just Start.

I am being 100% honest when I say I DO NOT always want to work out. But I am DEDICATED. I am dedicated to my health, and to the people that join me. So I will show up no matter what. Is it always perfect? Hell no! Who cares?

I run fitness groups, how can I tell my girls do your workout today when I am not?

So here are my tips to get started…

  1. Make a Goal
  2. Tell someone have them hold you accountable. And check in with you. even call you out on your shit when you are not showing up!
  3. Do something that will get you towards your goal every single day.
  4. Put some skin in the game. If you are anything like me you do not have a budget to just waste the money!
  5. Remember that its not always about weight loss that its about being healthier! More energy.
  6. Remember you’re not always going to want to, but you’ll feel better when you do!

Phase 3 Ultimate Reset – Restore

I did it! I finished! 21 Days of a cleanse with zero cheats. I do have to say for me this phase was the hardest. As you Restore, you’ll eliminate grains and legumes to focus on a simple, cleansing, fruit- and vegetable-based diet. And taking out the grains made me groggy at first. I was ready to be done too. LOL

The first 4 days of this phase I did not feel great. Then after I got through that . My energy spiked and I felt amazeballs. Not only did this cleanse help me. But I had energy to do things that have been driving me insane for a long time! I cleansed my house of a ton of unwanted crap! Like I had restless energy. I could not stop or sit still lol. Sleep is great and I an happy to report after I have no cravings. I am drinking coffees again but I don’t feel the need for a pot. I just love it. HA!

I was able to stay on a budget and complete this plan as well! It was necessary with a family of 5. So I stuck to certain meals!!

My day, up drink 12 ounces of distilled water take 2 optimize (helps your body absorb nutrients), take 2 revitalize (Helps support beneficial flora in the digestive tract) 30 min later breakfast.

Breakfast 3 cups of Fruit.

Wait 2hrs drink 12 ounces of distilled water take 2 optimize, 2 revitalize.

Lunch Spinach salad with cucumber baked sweet potato, avacado, and roasted pumpkin seeds.

Wait 2hrs and drink the Power Greens. Still gross. But got it in!

30 min snack of Vegan Shakeology!

Wait 2 hrs at least drink 12 ounces of distilled water take 2 optimize and 2 soothe (supports digestive health), 2 revitalize. Wait 30 min.

Dinner. I had either garlic veggies with sweet potato, a did 2 days of a roasted squash and lemon green beans but after eating this once I felt sick. So then I did the sweet potato  roasted red pepper bisque and a sweet potato. Tons of sweet potatoes but it was good!

Exercise was kept light yoga and walking still.

RESULTS YOU GUYSSSS!!

I was shocked! I am down 11.7 lbs and 9.25 inches. I did not do this to lose weight I wanted to feel better. I wanted to sleep past 3 am without sweating my ass off. I wanted to kick menopausal symptoms to the curb and that is exactly what I did! No cravings now minimal hot flashes. I feel that energy I had as a child. I recommend this to everyone and wish I would have done this years ago!!

Week 2 the Ultimate Reset -Release

I successfully completed another week of the Cleanse that scared the shit out of me! No cheats, 14 days in. I have to say I am proud of me. I have gone to work that serves wings. They are my weakness. Along with beer, wine, and chocolate… hahaha there is more. And if I am being completely honest. I have never gone that long with out a single cheat. Even on 80 Day Obsession when I was following timed nutrition I ate wings. Said they were on the plan, because they are chicken. Thats a protein. UMMMM they are fried and delicious.

The Start of week 2 was kind of rough, I am not going to lie. In this phase you completely eliminate all animal products. I know it sounds horrible. I was dreading it and if you would have saw me Sunday Which was day 4 of it, I may have threatened your life for a wing. (Don’t worry no one was hurt during this cleanse.) I fought through that craving and everything changed.

You guys I feel AMAZEBALLS, like I have not had any caffeine in 2 weeks and I fly right out of bed. I feel rested. I have the energy that I used stare longingly at a toddlers energy and wish I had.

I was able to do this week on a budget again. Like I said in the post about phase one Reclaim.  I needed to make this work with a family of 5. So I repeated a lot of meals. Dinner I switched up between 2 recipes. I was able to get all of my groceries for the week from 2 stores. I spent around $120 at Aldi and $25 at Giant Eagle.

My day, up drink 12 ounces of distilled water take 2 optimize (helps your body absorb nutrients), And Detox ( Helps support the boys natural detoxification processes and healthy liver function) 30 min later.

Breakfast. 3 Cups of fruit. I did a lot of cantaloupe, pineapple, honey crisp apples. I love fruit so this did not bother me at all!

Wait 2hrs drink 12 ounces of distilled water take 2 optimize , And Detox 30 min later.

Lunch. Micro greens salad. Did I mention I discovered Spring Mix tastes like dirt. And I really don’t care for it. But I bought it and budget so I ate it any way. This one I either topped with avocado or quinoa.

Wait 2hrs and drink the Power Greens. Still gross. But got it in!

30 min after Optional snack! I had Vegan Caffe Latte Shakeology. Which is delish.

Wait 2hrs drink 12 ounces of distilled water take 2 optimize , And Detox 30 min later.

Dinner. I swapped out with garlic Veggies with quinoa and miso soup. Or Sweet Potato Roasted Pepper Bisque, with a side of quinoa topped with a bit of avocado and this bisque was so freaking good!! And really easy to make.

Workouts only consisted of Yoga or hiking with the fam.

I told you how good I feel now lets do the results. I am down another 2.1 lbs from last week making my total 8.3 lbs in the 2 weeks. and down another 1/2 inch or so! Oh and PS I got a haircut.
