Coach Spotlight

When I started my journey at the beginning of 2018 I wouldn’t label myself as “fat” “chunky” “obese” or over weight. Honestly most would say to me you’re fine, you’re skinny you don’t need to lose weight. My struggles were not something you would see from the outside….on the outside I was still that outgoing laughing smiling girl but on the inside I was a lot I have never been; self conscious, timid, embarrassed, lonely and defeated.
During this time i was finally diagnosed with IBS. But an IBS diagnosis doesn’t really mean too much, I will still struggle with severe constipation , severe bloating and limited to no bowel movements, so to help with all of this I was given a prescription to help with the symptoms. The medication helped with the symptoms but at the end of the day diet and exercise would help the most.
Truth be told I was a gym rat growing up and loved everything about the gym and was also aware of what I put into my body but as I’ve gotten older, married and busier I started to find less time for working out and honestly it started to feel like a chore….and food, food was about comfort and socializing not about fueling my body!
So after a few months of a very determined friend convinced me to try Beachbody. I was just like everyone else, it’s too expensive, I don’t like shakes, working out at home no way! But at this point what did I have to lose….nothing so I said yes!
Little did I know saying yes would change so much!!! As I started the workouts and changing the way I was eating I started to feel better, the scale started to move and the no scale victories were rolling in!!
My confidence was back, I enjoyed working out again, I found myself and purpose again, and my IBS I was in more control than it has ever been and I eventually stopped taking the pills!!
Yes I have hit bumps in the road but I know I can always turn to my coach and my amazing support group to get me through whatever I have going on and getting me back on track!
I have gained so much during this process! Myself, confidence, control, balance and friendships!

Bad Mood?

You ever so miserable you annoy yourself? But you cannot snap out of it?
Me yesterday 😬🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️ I did what I always do when I wake up on the wrong side of the bed.
1. Personal development I do this daily when I’m crabby I triple it!

2. Move! Workout throw on music throw yourself a Dance 💃🏻 party.
3. Eat bright green veggies. I know you don’t want this. I swear it can help though!

4. If you live somewhere where the weather isn’t lame most of the time get outside.
5. Pet a dog 🐶. They make everything better. Not a dog person? Why are we friends 👭? (Kidding kind of)
6. Laugh with your kids.

7. Disconnect! When you’re not in the right state of mind it’s easy to compare yourself to every single person on social.
8. Water 💦 drink it! Lots of it!
9. Sleep 😴 go to bed early AF! Grandma 👵 it up!
10. Remember it’s not a bad life it’s a bad day!

80 Day Obsession Results

This is what 100% of commitment for 93 days looks like.

I am going to say that there is never a perfect time to start a program. But I wanted to prove to myself that I could commit. That I would not let alcohol and food run my life. That I didn’t need it to “fix” my feelings.

So I went 100% in…

100% through St Patrick’s and Mother’s day.

100% through birthdays

100% through parties

100% through going to dinner

100% through the loss of our dog

And I’ve found other ways to cope than with a bottle of wine. I feel amazing. I’m stronger physically and mentally. And I made it!!! And I am here to tell you, that if I can do it. You can too. Next Group starts Monday June 10th. Are you ready?

Personalized key chain.

We had to put our dog to sleep April 15 2019. Very unexpectedly. Quincy suddenly got sick could not stand and was yelping in pain. We took him to an emergency vet where we were told that his stomach flipped. Here it’s common for large deep Chest dogs. I had no idea this was possible. So here’s our boy.

I miss him.

Our daughter surprised my husband and I with a keep sake.

Such a thoughtful idea.

Beautiful surprise

Lets teach our daughters self LOVE <3

Let’s teach our daughters to love themselves first.
I can remember refusing to wear shorts when it was 90 degrees. I hated my legs.

Skipping lunch because I didn’t want to eat in front of people.
Thinking I was not good enough for my hubby when we started dating.

They pick up on everything we do and say. So teach self ❤️ love. Take care of you. Be nice to yourself. Prioritize your health.
Riley said when we were walking the other day. “Mom I can already feel my stomach getting skinnier.” I just stopped. Is that what she thinks I do all this for? I responded it’s not about that. It’s about being healthier it’s about being stronger. Forget skinny. She’s 7 so she just said. “Oh okay. I feel healthier.”

One of the things I wanted to do with this coaching thing is travel more. Seriously I love it!

Well we are taking the family to Maine with over night stops in Massachusetts and New York in June. I go to Indy in July for our annual coach summit. And in August I’m taking the hubster back to Nashville!
I used to think I’d have to wait until our kids were grown to do any of this! But I wanted to explore with them. I wanted to be able to take a trip with my husband and enjoy time alone together. I am making it happen.

Taking daily action doing something that to me does not feel like work. It does take heart and hustle at times a thick skin. But how cool is it that I get paid to help others be their best selves? While focusing on being the best me I can be!

Why haven’t you joined me yet?

*** there is no guarantee of success. Depends on the work you put in and the belief you have in yourself.**

secret sauce

I get asked, how do you get results? How do you get abs? How do you lose __ lbs? Can you help me? Then when I answer most don’t like it.
The thing is there is no secret to what I do. No secret to get results. You need to sweat. You need to eat healthy. You need to stop thinking a pill is going to fix everything. That crash diet you’re trying is not sustainable and when you go back to old habits the weight will come back.
Stop thinking so much about the number on the scale, but more about living a healthier life. Stop thinking it’s all about being skinny. Focus on being stronger. Stop using exercise as a punishment for indulging a bit. Find different ways to reward yourself other than food.
The secret sauce is sweat!

Hard Work and Hustlers

“Some say good girls don’t hustle. Well I’m okay with that. I care more about changing the world than I do about its opinion of me.” ~ Rachel Hollis – Girl Stop Apologizing
I spent a really long freaking time worried about what others would think. You know about the fact that I decided to be a stay at home Mom. But realized I want more. That I felt like I lost myself in my kids. I love them more than anything. But my identity became just Mom. I could not even remember the stuff I enjoyed doing and I down played staying home. “Oh you know I’m just a Mom.” When I signed up to be a coach. I wanted to build a business, but let the worry of what others would say hold me back. My faith in myself was non existent. Saying things like that’s great they are so successful. But I’ll never be there. I’ll never be a top coach. While secretly in my head I’m SCREAMING! “I WANT THAT! I WANT TOP 10.” But little old me. I’m just a Mom.
No More Doubt! I love what I do! My work does not feel like work! I help amazing women find themselves and believe in themselves and most importantly… LOVE themselves as they are! While working on getting healthier.
And every single day. My vision for where I’m going is becoming clearer! So I’ll put my head down and hustle. Supporting and loving on my girls is easy. The hustle of the business can be hard. But I will be in that Top 10.
Mommas, Ladies, do you feel what I’m saying? We can do anything we want! Hard work and hustle!

Does joining me sound like something you would want to do?
