I like to find ways to make classic recipes slightly healthier while still tasting good. Cooking and baking is one of my happy places. And making delicious treats for my family is one of my love languages. Try out this healthier twist to banana bread.
Ingredients
1 Cup Unbleached flour
1 Cup Oats
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp himalayan salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 ripe bananas mashed
2 eggs
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup Honey
1/4 cup greek yogurt
1/4 cup Extra virgin olive oil
Mix all the dry ingredients into a bowl.
In a separate bowl mix the remaining wet ingredients. Add the dry ingredients in. Mix until blended. Pour into a greased 9×5 loaf pan. Bake at 350 for 50 min. Or until a toothpick comes out clean. Enjoy!!
