So after a year and a half of trying to talk myself into Insanity Max 30 I bit the bullet and bought it! See I did insanity but 8 months after having a baby and month 2 in that one killed my hips so I was nervous. I do extreme workouts but insanity well is insane. I completed it though! Here we are 4 tea later I’m ready to go for it again.
Or so I thought…
This morning, would have started week 3. I got up and drank my energize then stalled lol. Did random shit for an hr. Dreading that damn workout the entire time. I finally get the strength to hit play. One minute in I’m done. Nope just can’t do this. I could not bring myself to do Insanity Max 30 today. I hate it! And I preach to find something you love, something that while you’re doing it you don’t mind. You aren’t watching the clock and I was trying to force myself to do this program. So many love it, but it’s not for me. So I put in The Masters Cardio. I’m sweaty and I did something for the day! Moving on…
Maybe one day I’ll try again. Right now I will be doing some other program!

What you need…
- Serrano pepper
Peel and cut mango into match stick slices. Juice a lime over it! De seed and de vein a Serrano pepper and dice. Add your desired amount to mango mixture. Season with salt and pepper!

I did it!!! I finished. Let me tell you this program was short. The moves simple yet effective. The workout to me never really got easy. Since you are working out such a short amount of time the intensity needs to be a bit higher!
There are 8 total workouts.
Resistance 1,2, &3
Cardio 1,2, &3
Core 1 &2
You do a day of resistance then a day of cardio and an optional core or vise versa. For 6 days and have a day off. This goes on for 8 weeks.
Meal plan. Very similar to the 21 day fix but he t lose you what containers to eat for each meal. If that does not work for you, then you can by all means go to what does and pick what containers to eat throughout the day!
I did not follow the meal plan 100% I live in moderation 🙂 and I feel great!
Weight wide I went up a little more than q pound but shrank in inches. Don’t rely so heavily on the scale!!
At the end of this workout you have the option of the Hell Week Challenge! This is days where you are doing 2 cardiosucks and a core and then the next 2 resistance all for a week. Totaling 18 workouts in 7 days!
I did it in glad it’s over but I did it lol!
I have not done afters from this yet! I will sometime today or tomorrow 🙂 then I plan on starting my next workout. Always have a plan on what your starting next so you don’t get trapped in a rut!
I loved how quick these workouts went and I didn’t feel bored at all. I think this is a great way to fit in a plan when you are super busy! And I enjoyed Tony Horton in this one. Normally I can’t take his jokes and meowing… No I’m not kidding! He is an awesome trainer though and knows what to do! I will def do this one again!
What you need:
1-2 lbs of sliced London broil
4 cups broccoli florets cut
1 cup beef broth
2tbs whole wheat flour
1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
red bell pepper diced
1 sliced onion
3 heaping teaspoons of minced garlic
crushed pepper flakes (optional and what you like)
Mix the liquids with the flour and brown sugar and put everything in the crockpot on low for 7 hrs. stir in the broccoli and cover for an additional hour. Delish. Serve over a brown rice.
