Beef stew


Got the idea from Fixate. Changed it to work with what I had.

Notice I do that a lot?! Ended up really good!

What you Need
-1 or over lbs lean chuck roast. (I threw it in frozen)
-3 cups organic low sodium beef broth
-1 Tbsp gluten free flour (can use cornstarch or Ww flour)
-2 tsp (heaping) minced garlic
-1 bag frozen butternut squash
-2 cups baby carrots
-1 large russet potato cubed
-Smoked paprika
-Trader Joes 21 Season Salute (this is a blend of spices you could really use any salt free spices you like)
-Sea salt

Take the beef broth and whisk in flour. Set aside.

In the crock pot put the squash, carrots, potato, and roast in. Season. Pour over the broth. Cook in high for at least 6 hours. Before you serve either cube or shred the roast. Depends on what you would like.



I did it! I finished week 3 of ‪#‎Cize‬! This dance was far from perfect, I was not gonna post it. But I really don’t give a shit how bad this is. Accountability people. And if I motivate even one person to get up and move. Then I am happy. I am shocked I did not pass out during the routine. This cold I have is making it hard to breathe lol.

Buffalo Cauliflower Bites

This was from Fixate… I did not have everything that was required so I tweaked it. Here is the recipe I did. You can get a copy of fixate here. BONUS… It was a fam favorite!

What you need

Nonstick Cooking Spray

1 head cauliflower cut

dash sea salt

1/2 cup hot pepper sauce

1/3 cup rice vinegar

1 Tbsp gluten free flour

1/2 tsp ground red pepper

1/4 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

1 tsp pure maple syrup

1tsp Worcestershire sauce

2 Tbsp butter

  1. Preheat Oven to 350
  2. coat baking sheet with spray
  3. Put cauliflower on sheet. coat with spray and season with salt. Add a little water to the pan to help steam.
  4. Bake until tender crisp
  5. While cauliflower is baking. Combine hot sauce, vinegar, and flour in sauce pan. Whisk over low heat until flour dissolves.
  6. Add remaining ingredients and whisk. Let cook on low until it thickens.
  7. Pour hot sauce mixture over cauliflower. Mix well
  8. Return Cauliflower to oven and Broil till lightly browned for about 5 minutes.
  9. Enjoy

Choc PB Banana Shakeo

What’s needed?

1 scoop Chocolate Shakeology
1/2 frozen banana
1 cup spinach. (Can’t taste it I promise and it adds greens)
10oz water
2-4 oz unsweetened almond milk (optional sometimes I use all water)
1tsp of natural Peanut Butter

Throw all this in the blender. Blend until smooth. Enjoy

PB&J Shakeology

OK. This is like the adult version of PB&J. Seriously who doesn’t love that!!

What’s needed?

1 scoop Strawberry Shakeology
1/2 frozen banana or 1 cup frozen strawberries. (Whichever you have or prefer)
1 cup spinach. (Can’t taste it I promise and it adds greens)
10oz water
2-4 oz unsweetened almond milk
1tsp of natural Peanut Butter

Throw all this in the blender. Blend until smooth. Enjoy

Banana Oat Pancakes

Kid tested! Mom approved!


She loves those glasses

This is from the new cook book Fixate. I tweaked it. Because I did not have everything. The pancakes were great and the kids and hubby ate them without complaint!


1 Cup unsweetened almond milk (I used unsweetened vanilla)

2 large eggs

1 large ripe banana

1 tsp pure vanilla extract (I used dashes of lemon Im out of vanilla)

1/2 tsp cinnamon (used Pumpkin Pie Spice)

Dash of Sea salt

2 Cups old fashioned oats

1/2 tsp coconut oil

Mixed berries to top! (I did not have any we made my apple syrup. Not healthy I know bd but moderation people!)

Place everything, BUT the coconut oil in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth. Heat the oil in a pan. Pour 1/4 cup of batter each pancake into the skillet. Cook until bubbles form and flip. Can be served with berries.

Serves 8 (2pancakes each) Containers 1 yellow if you use the berries 1//2 purple
