For starters it is the best way to give your body exactly what you need. Cuts out all the processed junk that makes you feel like shit and is simple. Do you never ever get to eat junk? No you can the rule is generally 80-20. Meaning eating clean 80% of the time to get the results you want. I guarantee that if you follow it 100% of the time you probably suck to be around… (kidding kind of.)
Eating clean will get all the toxins out of your body making you feel better, have more energy, get healthier looking hair, skin, and nails. It also will get your body to your ideal weight. This may be gaining (scary for some) or losing. Your workout results will pop.
This picture shows you a good gain…My favorite part. You are eating 5-6 small meals a day!! YAY! I love food. I forget a lot of shit, but never a good meal. Ask my husband, I tell directions by restaurants. He always says to me , “I don’t remember food like you.”
Those meals consist of Complex carbs and lean proteins, getting 2-3 healthy fats in a day.
Learning portion sizes is necessary though, because believe it or not you can have too much of a good thing. It is annoying too when your thinking , “What the hell I am exercising and eating good, I don’t look any different.” Then you give up. Been there done that. Pay attention to what you are eating and how much!! Here is a way to get an idea of what your portions should look like.
